The Iowa City Animal Shelter has around 350 volunteers this year. Each volunteer is asked to commit a year of their time. The volunteer possibilities are endless! Volunteers can help with fundraising events or simply spend time with the animals. Chris Whitmore, the animal service coordinator, speaks about what the daily job duties are of the full-time staff.
